She had agreed to the rules, so why she had then made the choice not to follow them she didn’t know. She had a reason of course, she always did, but that was not the way it worked. Reasons after the event were too late.
It came down to the fact that she had agreed ro wearing no underwear that week, so making an exception for coffee on Friday with the book group girls, just because you could see her nipples through the top, was not acceptable and she knew it. She could have chosen an item of clothing that worked better but now here she was. No choice.
Not only had she disappointed him in allowing him the full access to seeing the shape and outline of her body through her clothes as agreed. In making the choice to break the agreement she had disrespected his position, going against his wishes and desires.
By the time she saw what he had selected for her to wear on Saturday she was quite repentant but her lesson would have this final part nonetheless. The very short shorts, the sheer top that meant her nipples and breasts could be seen through the material, she was very much his to display as he chose.
Once she got over her initial fear as they walked into the restaurant, she actually began to feel the sense of freedom that being his brought. Not only that, she clung to him as surprised faces watched and raised a brow, for he was her safety and her protector as well as her teacher.
This was a lesson she would not forget. She was his by choice and she knew what that meant in terms of the choices she had, when she could choose to make them, and when not to.
I mentioned last week that I was enjoying my Saturday shorts and might make it a thing. Many of you were positive about that in the comments and so I have decided to go ahead. It’s not a meme as such but if you want to join in and do your own Saturday Short then please just leave your link in the comments to my post and I will come and visit yours. Feel free to use the badge and link back to my Saturday Shorts category.
While writing short fiction is not for everyone, it does mean a focus on the words you choose. Writing should be as short as possible in order to tell your story so I am limiting myself to between 100 and 300 words, using increments of 50 only in order to force some additional discipline! The stimulus for my piece each week will come from a picture.
