I suppose this is a bit of a follow up to my last post where I said that I was finding it hard to feel sexy. Basically I know that this starts with me because it is a mindset I have fallen in to. I think it has happened for a number of reasons, but I also know that there are things I could do to try to counteract it. Sexiness isn’t about having the perfect body and I have always been able to see that, but sometimes it is more tricky to feel it.
When I get home, I’m not the boss like I am at work – I slip into a more feminine role. I take everything off and put on my Stella McCartney silk robe. I’ll put on a red lip or red nails, and it lifts my mood. Sexy underwear also gives you a spark.Miranda Kerr
I know that I need to try to do little things to make myself feel sexier. For me this will often mean feeling feminine but there are loads of ways to feel sexy and appear sexy to others. I also think there is a difference in what makes me feel sexy and what HL finds sexy about me and I am lucky that currently the way I feel is not part of how he feels about me. Submission has always helped because although it can be difficult to let go, when I do, it completely changes how I feel.
So I am going to try to take the advice of Miranda Kerr this week and try the small things. Even if I am working from home that day or not doing anything special, I will try to do one little thing which will make me feel more like the person I know that I can be. I know what things do this and so I am going to get out of my rut, even just in a small way, and see what a difference that makes. This week, I am going to find what makes me feel sexy! Oh, and do it!
