Bare Bodies

Bare bodies, bound together and bathed in blue

This week is prompt week on Sinful Sunday and when I span Molly’s Wheels of Photography, the technical aspect that I got was mirror and the additional element was the letter B. I have played around with this mirror shot that we took when we were away together and added the blue filter and the mirror effect. I have included the original images below as I am not sure which I prefer. I think that I would like to play around a bit more with photos using mirrors as it does add an interesting aspect to the pictures. I really wanted to have an actual letter B and tried various shots where I contorted my body to try to come up with something, but it was one of those things that worked better in my head than it did in reality so I have gone with things that begin with B instead.

Kiss the lips below to find out who else is sinning this week!

    • Thank you – I would like to get some more where we are both in them. HL is definitley getting better at taking the pictures. I want to try to learn a bit more myself 🙂

    • Thank you May. I haven’t played around with colour much before so it was good to have the inspiration from the wheel!

  1. Oh, wow – this is brilliant editing! When I first looked at the photo, I thought you were facing each other in the mirror but spooning against the wall. Really nice use of focus.

  2. I have to admit that I have given these a really good look…. and what I see is fabulous. I do really like the last image, the original, you can really see how he is holding you and the way your bodies are pushed together but the mirrored image is intriguing and deceptive and mysterious and I love that

    • Awww thank you Molly. I really enjoy the prompt as it makes me try something new. The wheels are a great idea and it is fun looking to see what everyone has done. missy x

  3. There is so much to love in this, the pose, the blue filter, the out of focus faces in the mirror. I couldn’t help but keep flicking between both edits, they both really drew me, just wonderful. X

  4. I really like the blue effect. It’s an awesome image frankly. I found myself zooming in because I realized there was a lot more going on then I first thought. Well done

    • Thank you. It came out pretty small in the end. I am happy with it although there are some incredible pictures this week ?
